ELLA T., away fast and showing high speed, raced into the lead at once, and scored a lucky victory. ACCELERATE began slowly and was taken back on the turn, but saved much ground when coming into the stretch and was-going fastest at the end. GUARANTEED was well up all the way and finished gamely. PHANTOM MAID, away forwardly and showing the most speed, drew out decisively in the stretch to win as her rider pleased. WAR IDOL began slowly, but closed a gap and finished fastest of all. LARIAT meed in closest pursuit to the stretch and tired in the last eighth. JOHN J. CASEY showed speed. CAVALCADOUR II., away poorly, was forced to race wide throughout and ran a good race. SQUEELER set a good para and, being taken Wide in the early running, tired in the last eighth and interfered with BLAISE repeatedly, for which he was disqualified. BLAISE was in close quarters in the stretch and might have won with a clear course. MAUD BACON finished fast. GALLANT LAI was always outrun.
