CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF Applications for trainers and jockeys licenses arc said to be coming in slowly to the Jockey Club; surprisingly so, in view of the fact that the opening of the Maryland season is but three weeks off. Jockey W. Wiley, who was riding for the royal stables in Roumania when the war broke out, has returned to this country, and proposes to take out a license to ride here this year. Wiley rode for John A. Drake iu 1905.
