MANY ARRIVALS AT CHURCHILL DOWNS LOUISVILLE Ky April 2 The stables at Churchill Downs are rapidly filling up and in con ¬ sequence the track is taking 011 an air of much activity New arrivals are coming from the south ¬ ern tracks while a number of atables at Douglas Park are being transferred to the older track Yesterday John S Ward transferred his stable of fourteen horses and was followed by Roscoo Goose who brought over a couple of racers Fifteen stalls for the horses of E B McLean are bedded dowuj in anticipation of the early arrival of that stable in charge of John F Schorr from the cast castMany Many owners now racing at Hot Springs have announced their intention of shipping here at an early date Among these is Ham Keene who plans to bring the second division of the Waldeck Stable here the latter part of the present week The appointments at Churchill Downs are so complete that hardly any changes will be made to the plant this spring
