TRAINING GALLOPS AT LEXINGTON LEXINGTONLEXINGTON LEXINGTON Ky April 7 John Whitlows Dixie Carroll candidate for the Kentucky Derby worked threequarters in 11G73 at the Kentucky Association track this morning and the work watch ¬ ers thought mighty well of it but the move they talked most about was that of the twoyearold brown filly Clearing tp by Rochester Sea Mist by Fowlingpiece in the stable of John T Ireland She worked threeeighths in 3 J C Milams Rapid Water colt accompanied by tlie Delhi geld ¬ ing East Indian worked a half in 49 Sewell Combs and Manokin from the Galiaher Bros string went threeeighths in 3t A number of the trainers are much worried over the continued coughing of tiieir twoyearolds many of which have now been so long confined to shed exercise that it is doubtful if they can bo made ready to race before Louisville Dan Clarks youngsters in the Louchheim string are coming out of their sickness in good condition conditionHugh Hugh Gilmore assistant to starter A B Dade put up a barrier at the track today but he did not have many twoyearolds to come for instruction
