J K L ROSS TO BREED OWN HORSES HORSESNEW NEW YORK N Y May 22 Commander J K L Ross who now owiis one of the best If not the best stable of horses in this country has decided to go extensively into thoroughbred breed ¬ ing upon a large scale To this end he has pur ¬ chased a tract of land three miles from Laurel Maryland on which he will lay out a mile track and build the most uptodate stables and other appointments suitable His two notable horses Cudgel and Sir Barton will head the establishment and he will enrich his present stock of mares as opportunity arises It is probable the farm and track will be ready for occupancy by next au ¬ tumn according to present plans
