TROPHIES FOR HUNT CLUB WINNERS NEW YORK N Y June 11 Tim coming race meeting of the United Hunts at Belmont Park Terminal June 14 and 21 has led to the presenta ¬ tion of several pieces of plate which are to be aihled to the financial awards for the principal events eventsW W R Poe has given a plate valued at 400 which is to IK presented to the owner of the winner of the Great United Hunts Steeplechase This plate must he won twice by the same owner not nec ¬ essarily in succession with a replica of the prize tu M awarded in each instance instanceOther Other sportsmen who have shown their willingness to aid the United Hunts cause through donations of trophies include the following Henry W Sage 125 plate to the winner of Turf and Field High weight Handicap at one mile on the flat Herbert L Pratt 300 plate for the Double Event Steeple ¬ chase at two miles Joseph E Davis 150 plate for the Hamptons Steeplechase and F Ambrose Clark 200 plate for the Between the Flags Steeplechase at two miles These trophies will be added to by presentations which have been promised by other sportsmen
