ENGLANDS BEST TWOYEAROLD COLT Sarchedon Undefeated to Date and a Brother to the Failure Stefan the Great GreatThere There was a good twoyearold In England last year which raced so well that he was expected to do great things as a threeyearold in 1919 His name was Stefan the Great But he has proved a failure He started favorite in this years Two Thousand Guineas but finished far back and has not raced since This year his twoycarpld brother Sarchedon has raced even better than he did and is now held tor be the best of his age His latest ex ¬ ploit was to win the July Stakes at Newmarket the longest established race In England for two yearolds and in which he defeated another higli ciass one in He Goes irad previously won the Coventry Stakes at Ascot and the Bedford Stakes at Newmarket so he is undefeated He is a bigger and better constructed colt than Stefan the Great was at his age and undoubtedly has the gift of going fast but has an uncomfortable tendency to swerye when under pressure However he is ex ¬ pected to atone f orchis brothers delinquency and here is his entirely fashionable pedigree
