FARM OF LATE W F SCHULTE IS SOLD SOLDLOUISVILLE LOUISVILLE KyV July 30 John Christopher Schulte of Philadelphia Pa and Ovcrton B Mc Meekin of this city were the successful bidders for the farm of the late Judge William F Schulte for yearrt a prominent thoroughbred breeder and racing official and turfman at1 a court commis ¬ sioners Pale held yesterday The farm which is located four miles from the city limitson the Tay lorsvilie road was sold for 41500 41500It It was first sold in six lots and then as a wholc and the best bid when it was offered the latter way was far greater than the aggregate bids by lots The price is considered a good one by real estate experts It contains 229 acres and the price averaged 181 per acre acreThe The purchasers are a brother and a nephew of the former inrfnian ami both of them were named as beneficiaries of the estate in his will Since his death they have been running sme of the horses left them in the firm name of Schulte McMeekin The best of their outfit is Bellsolar which is now at Churchill Downs suffering from a cut on one ot her legs sustained at the recent Latonia meeting meetingWhile While they have not made a definite announcer ment to that effect it is the general supposition that Messrs Schulte MqMeekln will continue to breed race horses at their farm Both are fond of the sport of racing and they will in all proba ¬ bility expand their stable now
