MAJOR CANADIAN TRACKS NOT TO RACE W P Fraser Says Racing Associations Have Selin quished Hope of Racing This Tear TORONTO Ont August 0 W P Fraser of the Canadian Racing Association said today In reference to racing in Canada this year yearAs As there appears little chance of n resumption of racing this year the Jockey Club and racing associations under the jurisdiction of the Cana ¬ dian Racing Association have decided to relinquish any Jiope of holding race meetings in 19l9 The Canadian Racing Association lias not considered taking action regarding any racing which may be held upon race tracks outside of its Jurisdiction It is evident from the above that the Montreal district racing move is purely local and is without the consideration of the leading tracks in Canada It is also certain that the tracks at Toronto Wind ¬ sor Hamilton Fort Erie and Blue Bonnets and Mount Royal at Montreal and Cammught Park at Ottawa will not race in 1919
