A B HANCOCK BUYS SIRE JIM GAFFNEY SARATOGA SPRINGS N Y August G A B Hancock the wellknown breeder added Jim Gaff ney today to his extensive Kentucky and Virginia breeding establishments The amount paid to O A Bianchi for the stallion was not given out but it is said to be a fancy figure Jim Gaffney during his brief sojourn in the stud had phenomenal suc ¬ cess and among the more noted ones he has sired are the stake winners Dodge Franklin Emerson Cochran Sennings Park Sedan Berlin War Pen ¬ nant and Viola Gaffney Mr Hancock has not decided at which one of his breeding establish ¬ ments he will keep the horse but it is more than likely that his Claibome Stud in Kentucky will be the future home of Jim Gaffney
