BLAZES SHIPPED BACK TO MARYLAND LEXINGTON. Ky. September 23. Rlazes, winner of the Rreeders Futurity, and Rullseye.his stable-mate, were shipped from here this afternoon back to Maryland. Emil Ilerz is here inspecting the stallion Short Grass and the mares and weanlings belonging to the Short Grass Stud Farm Corporation. Manager R. L. Raker of Lexington track will go to Litonia tomorrow to remain until Friday, after which he expects to spend a week at French Lick Springs. J. O. Kcenc sent in from Kcencland Farm to th Kentucky Jockey Club track today sixteen yearlings to be trained. They were broken at the farm. Dan T. Morris is remaining here to break yearlings for a number of patrons. T. L. Pierce opened a stable at the Kentucky Jockey Clnb course today and .will break yearlings. John I. Smith today sold tlit horse Thirteen to AV. E. Matthews of Memphis. Thrills is to be put in training again for the account of II. II. Hewitt unless Smith should sell her within the next few days.
