MASKED DANCER followed the leader closely under, slight restraint and also finished fast and gamely, but lost because of a weakly ridden finish. INDISCRETION raced well all the way, but tired in the stretch drive. BETTY J. raced on the inside in the softest going all the way. BAR ONE worked his way up on the inside and took the lead after entering the stretch, but could not withstand the winners challenge. PERSEUS was a forward contender all the way.
