BRIDGE PLAYER set the early pace and finished gamely, but tiring. TIIUNDHRBIRD was in close quarters on the backstretch, but gained steadily when clear and finished gamely under punishment. BACK HOME tired after going a good half. EASTERN GLOAV had no mishaps. FLYPAPER showed speed. The winner, entered for 00 was bid up to ,500 and sold to P. S. P. Randolph.
