Won driving; second and third the same. THUNDERBIRI began slowly, but saved ground on all turns and, coming with a rush through the last quarter, headed BRIDGE PLAYER in the final strides. The latter was a forward contender all the way and finished gamely, but tiring. LARGIIETTO rushed into a long lead in the early running, but tired when challenged. LOCUST LEAVES began slowly and raced wide, but closed a big gap. COURLIS tired iu the last eighth. Won ridden out; second and third driving. COUSIN O MINE rushed into the lead at once and, setting a good pace, outstayed LE BALA-FRE in the final drive. The latter raced in nearest pursuit of the winner all the way and finished gamely, but tiring. PARABLE raced well and was on the inside throughout. OVERMATCH rah fairly well. SUSAN M. began slowly and. being taken extremely wide on the turns, tired in the last eighth. HALF AND HALF and ASSUMPTION had no chance at the start. ADELE, after being saved under slight restraint in the early running, wore the leaders down in the last eighth and drew clear, but tired in the closing strides and just lasted long enough to win. NINETY SIMPLEX was on the outside all the way and finished with a rush through the stretch under punishment. HELEN ATKIN, away forwardly, finished gamely and outstayed LINFIRMIER in the final drive. The latter displayed the most speed in the early running, but swerved into soft going in the last eighth and tired. TOMMYWAAC was poorly ridden.
