ELFIN QUEEN A FAILURE THIS YEAR One of the biggest failures of the years racing has been the Oneck Stables filly Elfin Queen. This good daughter of Disguise Sprite was a whale of a lace horse last year as a two-year-old, winning four out of her seven starts, including the Juvenile, Fashion and Clover Stakes. In the Juvenile Elfln Queen beat such good ones as Hannibal. Routledge, Lord Brighton, War Marvel and Mad Hatter. Her total winnings for 1918 amounted to 5,930. This year she has failed to win a race in seven starts, and has only been a source of disappointment to her trainer and owner.
