COL. BAKER ON ROAD TO RECOVERY LEXINGTON, Ky.. November 30. Col. R. L. Raker, muster of Kingston Farm, returned to his home from Iouisville after a fortnight in a hospital, whet; lie underwent a minor operation. It will be a week possibly before he is able to resume his usual activities. Judge Allie W. young, member oT the Kentucky State Racing Commission, is lit Louisville to undergo an operation similar to that performed on Col. Itaker. Secretary Samuel 0. Nnckols, Jr., said a day or two ago that he is not informed when a meeting of tin? Kentucky State Racing Commission will be held, but he was inclined to the belief that it might not be until after Judge Young leaves the hospital. Racing folk generally are hopeful that the spring dates will be fixed sometime iu December. i
