POLAR CUB went to the front with a rush, and drawing away into a long lead was eased up at the end. HATRACK ran well and was hard ridden to outstay HORACE LERCH. The latter ran well but tired after getting on even terms witJi the leader at the eighth post. PIERROT set a fast early pace. Imt tired and probably was a little short. MAE MURRA.Y was poorly ridden.
