CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF Thoroughbred racing is one of the winter attractions at I.akewood, N. J. T. J. Pendergast is the biggest money winner at, Jefferson Park to date, his horses having won S2.025. James F. OHara, manager of the Bowie course, and interested with G. D. Bryan, Jr.. in racing roertIes, is an arrival for the Jefferson Park meeting. Since the opening of the Jefferson Park meeting on Thanksgiving day to date eighty-five jockeys have accepted mounts at that track. Additions are being made to that number daily. The young apprentice rider F. Coltiietti is leading the jockeys at Jefferson Park, having ridden nine winners since the meeting opened, two more than II. Lunsford, his nearest rival.
