HUNTING, FISHING AND SPORT. Dip nets are used by. fishermen in Humboldt and Sonoma Counties, California, the catch in both counties: consisting entirely of surf fish. The fisi-ing is done entirely in the ocean. The fisherman stands at the edge of the surf and holds jiis net under .it as it is breaking, no boat being used. "Mother" M. J. Helmer, 84 years old, and with no objection Hi concealing her age, is a regular attendant of the meetings of the Northern Ohio Fish and Game Protective Association. On u fishing trip with her two sons .last fall "Mother" Helmer took her share of blackbuss, rockbass and yellow perch from Rondeau Lake.
