RICHARD CR0KER HOME FROM ABROAD NEW YORK, N. Y.. December 22. Richard Croker, who won the Epsom Derby with Orby in 19tl7. lias just returned from England 011 the Car-mania. Orby died in April, 191S. but his sons and daughters are perpetuating his fame by valiant deeds on the turf, so much so that Orby finished third in the English stallion list for 1919, twenty-one of his progeny winning forty races and 11.-200, just a ,095 less than the winuiugs of the offspring of Polymelus, second on the list.
