SIRE SHANNON TO STAND IN MARYLAND NEW YORK, N. Y., December 22. The stallion Shannon, which came here on the steamship Michigan last week with the Kilmer consignment, lias been located. He is on the farm of Mr. Rolert H. Ileighe, a nephew of Mrs. Herman R. Duryen. ad will stand at. the head of a stud farm to be established by Mr. Heiglie at Rel Air, Harford County, Maryland. Shannon is a son of Irish Lad Census and was a good nice horse during his career on the French turf. Mr. Ileighe intends to collect mares suitable to mate witli Shannon and will probably race the produce. He is quite a sportsman, limiting to hounds and an exceedingly popular member of clubs and social gatherings in Maryland and New York.
