Won driring; second and third the same. RHADAMES set a good pace, raced SHODDY into defeat in the first half and hung on gamely at the end. PERSEUS saved ground when entering the stretch and, in a fast finish, almost got up to win. DIONE came wide on the last turn, but was coming fast at the finish and would have won in a few strides.
