NEW RULES FOR KENTUCKY RACING LOUISVILLE, Ky., December 30. One of tho rules suggested by the rules committee of the Kentucky Racing Commission and adopted by that organization at its last meeting is that no races le offered for two-year-olds lef ore June 1 of oath year at a distance over four and one-half furlongs and that no race be given for horses of that age at a distance under five and one-half furlongs after September 15 of each year. The rule was adopted and ordered incorporated in the statutes of the racing commission. A rule was also introduced, which was passed, to the effect that all races in which horses are to be sold shall be claiming races, selling -stakes and purses on the former plan to be abolished. It was also ruled that there shall be no race under three-quarters of a mile for horses three years old and -over, and only two at this distance on the program of one day, and furthermore that there shall be at least one race at one and a quarter miles or over on each days racing program. Another rule passed by the commission bars from all nice courses any one under suspension during the ieriod in which he is outlawed, including the privileges of. the tracks for any. purposes whatsoever.
