January .".-With the holiday season over the Cuba -American Jockey Club reverts back at its former policy of holding no racing on Mondays, which was the reason for todays lav off at Oriental Park. The running of the first two-year-old race of the year, scheduled for tomorrow, has aroused much interest and a large crowd will U- on hand to see the babies perform. The Diaz youngsters have lieen working well and the Cuban turfmans entry will likely rule favorite for tomorrows race. The Armonia Stable recently purchased from Mrs. . K. Moore, the hor-e irinidy at private sale and he ran under the colors of his new owner in Sundays handicap. tH-ing coupled with Lackawanna. The Armonia Stable recently renamed its two juveniles which were purchased from Harry 1ayne Whitney. The colt by Pater Paa- Tree Dove, registered as Dovewood. being named Vic Munoz. as a eaaaaUaaaal to the well-known Havana sporting editor. The filly by All Cold-Slippers, registered as Sli| along. is now known as Sabro-ura. Diane and raleafaaaa have been added to the schooling list.
