J. E. SEAGRAM LEAVES LARGE ESTATE Will Directs That All His Horses Be Sold— Turf Cups and Trophies to His Sons. TORONTO. Out.. January ."..—The will of J.weph E. Seagram, widely known horseman of Waterloo, who died August 18, 1919. was probated this afternoon at Kitchener. Out. It disposes of an estate of ,039,710 to three sons and one daughter, the last since deceased. More than half of the stx-page will is concerned with the late Mr. Seagrams horses. Mr. Seagram owned many cups and trophy winners, including Queens and Kings IMaters. The cups and trophies are all carefully and specifically distributed among members of his family with the wish that they never be permitted to pass out of the Seagram family. The bulk of the estate consists of Mucks and bonds, particularly stock in the Joseph E. Seagram ,V Sen- Co.. Ltd. The slocks include thirty-six: shares in the Ontario Jockey Club. The will directs that all race horses, stallions, mares and everything in connection with horse racing be disposed of as soon as convenient without sacrifice. Victorious and Mandarin: the Walker up won by Sarago-sa and tile Ontario Jockey Club Cup won by IVr-istence: Norman Seagram receives the Walker Cups won by Tactician and Victorious, the Kings Plate Caaa won by Seismic, Belle Mah.me. Millbrook. and the Windsor Salver won by Sweet Colleen; T. W. Seagram receives the Queens Hotel Cup won by Inferno, and Kings Plate Caaa won by Slaughter, Martello. Bon Ino. lee Miller, and the Hamilton Coronation Cup. four Durham Caaa and Cups won by Precession. Bonnie -fiidd. Ferdinand. John Buskin. Ciuche dOr and Dalmoor. -ome of which were to have gone to the testator- daughter revert to the .-oils.
