MANY THRILLS FISHING FOR KINGFISH The kiigfish. otherwise known BB cero and M -vail:, i- a well-knoun game fish found in the tropical Atlantic, its principal habitat being the Julf of Mexico and the Straits of Florida. The scientific name of this fish i- Scoinlieiomorus cavalla and il i- a member of the family Scombridao, the Mackerels. The kingfi-h closely resembles | giant Spanish maikerel. and it is only a different species. It ha- a long, lithe, powerful, mackerel-like body and i- dark non-gray in color, aaBBOtted. In weight it rangi - from ten to one hundred pounds and from filly pound- upward forms one of the most attiracl- i. eaaM fishes of the oceaa.
