A. Stonehams Bally won the Bermuda Handicap, the main feature of todays program, at Oriental Park. Director James caught bet in the last s.xtecnlh and passed her in the final strides. Backers of favorites bad their reward when Nope and Yorkville won the second and third races respectively. Iiekells took no Chance with Nepe and rode him out when fanst 1 1 III challenged. Old Yoikville was immeasurably best in the third and had things his own way, bis rider easing him up at the end. J. Cmensetters .old Stone was a disappointment in the fourth, finishing unplaced. White Crown eras returned the winner after a spirited battle with Thorn Bloom, the re.siilt being in donht until I la last few strides. Kay R pence furnished the winner of the fifth race in Foster Kmbry. which easily held safe Am- hassador III., when the latter loomed up threatening ill the last eighth.
