accounted for the Toggery Purse a dash of three quarters for fillies and mares while his Kentucky Derby candidate King Thrush made a show of his opponents in the Chester Purse in which he met some of the best threeyearolds here King Thrush won his race in impressive fashion lie raced into Hie lead soon after the start and Sande had him under stout restraint for the entire race At the finish i led by a long margin and was fighting fightingfor for his h I Irish Dancer which ran coupled with withKing King Thrush was third Sande rode a confident race on Milkmaid lie had her under restraint in the early running where he was pinned in next to tht inner rail and in a pocket After rounding tin far turn where the field spread out a bit Sande look Milkmaid to tin outside and in hi homestretch closed up on the leaders and in a mild drive won soing away by a length lengthNinety Ninety Simplex which fell in the second race causing his rider T Nolan to receive a serious injury and was afterward
