COES DERBY HORSES ARE COMING Audacious in Fine Fettle FettleNKAV NKAV YOKK N Y April 10 H is almost as ¬ sured that AV K Coo will have two starters in ihe Kentucky Derby in Cleopatra and David HaruiH William Karrick is giving this pair a special preparation for the race ami they are going along in HI satisfactory niMiiner turning miles in 10 and threeiiiarters in 11S at Helmoiit Park with little effort The stable plans at present are to take them both to Pimlico where they will have a race or two and then be shipped to Ken ¬ tucky tuckyII II K Knapp for whnm AAilliam Karrick trains was at the track yesterday to look over his horses Several were given short sprints and ap ¬ peared to be pretty well advanced compared with some of the others at Kolmont Park Mr Karrick showed two fine colls one by Frizzle and another by Cet Lady Caprice which worked well als a sister to Cinderella which acts as if she will race creditably when the time arrives arrivesA A stable of horses that is altractiug attention at Helinont Park is that of the Schwartz Krothers trained by John Hastings Of tin older horses in the collection Audacious is training remarkably well as is Ihe fine mare Enfilade Poth are prettv well advanced anil will be ready for early racing There are also two interesting two yea r olds in the stable one by Colin Domino Noire auS the second by InHe Saratoga HiHe Trainers who are closely watching proceedings at Pelmont Park predict a future for this pair They have the earmarks of stake material in their early education educationKdward Kdward K Pradhy is in town for a short visit to attend to his racing affairs lie predicts an extraordinary racing s1soii in Kentucky and re ¬ ports all his horses doins well
