MARYLAND HUNT CLUB RACE NEAR Bij Field Expected to Contest Over a Difficult Course New Accession to Racing NEW YORK April 111 The Maryland Hunt Cup is to be decided next Saturday It is expected to have more than fourteen starters over a crosscoun ¬ try course situated at Ilampden near Towsim Md Horsemen say it is the most difficult course in the country embracing all sorts of going and dif ¬ ficult obstacles Nearly every one of the surround ¬ ing states and cities will be represented with en ¬ tries ridden by wellknown amateur riders and huntsmen from the different hunting clubs of Long Island Pennsylvania Maryland Virginia and Del it ware wareThe The colors of Joseph B Choate will probably be seen on the local courses this year Mr Choate having three crosscountry horses that have been trained near Boston by Dolph Wheeler Mr Choate is one of the family of Joseph Choate who was one of the most eminent lawyers of this country and former ambassador to Kngland representing the United States
