WORKOUTS SCARCE AT LEXINGTON LEXINGTON Ky April 21 The rain did not cease until shortly before daylight leaving the Ken ¬ tucky Jockey Club track sloppy but all of today it has been bright and warm and under the in ¬ fluence of the sun and air the course is drying If there is no more rain it will be fast for the opening of the racing season Saturday SaturdayT T F Henrys Tlie Swimmer was Ihe only Ken ¬ tucky Derby eligible to work a mile or over this morning In company with AV P Dabney he cov ¬ ered a mile and an eighth in 20 73 the mile in 152 Senator Camdens Lorraine did threequarters in 125 and M C Moores Mickey Moore in 122 J C Stone did a mile and a quarter in 22 f Gamecock worked a mile in 155 but Poilu which started with him sulked and finished in l57rj
