BE FRANKS SPLENDID RACE Shows Himself in Form in a Fast Mile and an Eighth Favorites Have a Hard Time Upset in a Remarkable Trial Trialat at the Derby Distance LATONIA Ky June 0 C N Garrisons Re Frank most in regard in the third race with Melancholia also the recipient of extensive support He was eliminated at once by his fjiilure to begin with the others and Paris Maid after flattering in the stretch gave way to Bourbon Green and Harlock HarlockFurbelow Furbelow was the first choice that earned brack ets and her victory came only after her backers had given up hope for Refugee II had taken a lead of almost ten lengths in the first half but tired so fast in the stretch that she interfered with others directly In her wake Mile Dazie was a particular sufferer in this respect and it cost
