IRISH JIG SCORES AT CONNAUGHT PARK Question of Oxvnership Results in Disqualification of Little Boy Winner on Monday OTTAWA Ontario June 22 L W Garths Berrilldon Belle Clem twoyearold Irish Jig which had shown good form in his previous races made gcod today when he flashed past the judges a winner in the Connaught Park Junior Purse around which was built the program for the fiftli day of the Connaught Park meeting Under a rousing ride by jockey Richcreek Irish Jig came from behind with a cyclonic rush through the center of the stretch and gained the decision over Ikey T which besides being tired pt the finish was Imn dicapped by his jockey being caught napping at the end Despite the fact that Irish Jig had pre ¬ viously been placed ahead of Ikey T at the meet ¬ ing the Tullett gelding was made favorite Heren desy from the Brookdale Stable finished third thirdAn An aftermath of yesterdays racing came today in the disqualification of Little Boy which led his opponents home in the fourth race Monday The cause of the disqualification as announced by stew ¬ ards Francis Nelson and Herman P Conkling was a question of ownership The horse was run in the interest of E S Moore and was saddled by Staff Doyle Following the race there were rumors of a ringer having been run Inquiries brought out con ¬ tradictory statements from those involved and finally it was admitted that the horse did not be ¬ long to E S Moore Further inquiries will be made to establish the ownership and identity of the animal By the disqualification Allah is de ¬ clared the winner Elmont moves up into second place and Huzzas which ran as one of the field gets third money moneyAnother Another goodly midweek attendance marked the racing today despite the continuance of threaten ¬ ing weather Rains of the early morning again slowed the track somewhat The largest mntucl price since the resumption of racing in the Dominion was paid by Hemisphere to place in the fourth race The II Warner color bearer paid 31270 on a 2 ticket ticketSam Sam Spencer who will have charge of the mu tnels at Hamilton left here with two assistants to get the plant in conditionfpr the WAuip gOt Morty Mahoney who has been in charge of all the iniituels thus far on the Canadian circuit will go from here to Blue Bonnets and from there to Woodbine to attend to details of the next meetings at those plants After that he will go to Mary ¬ land in connection with the preliminary work for the fall racing tliere tliereA A Laraundeau M P and D T Hurst both of Montreal motored here to witness the racing today Jockeys Claver and De Mayo accompanied the Canadian division of Commander J K L Ross stable to Hamilton HamiltonJockey Jockey Wakoff will leave here tonight for New York
