ANOTHER FOR G. A. COCHRAN St. Michael and Banksia Run One-Two in Juvenile Race at Laurel. LAUREL. Md.. October 7. The colors of Gifford A. Cochran were carried to victory at Laurel Park this afternoon, when St. Michael and Banksia. a pair of His Majestys juveniles, ran one-two in the Relay Purse, a three-quarters of a mile dash for two-year-olds. G, W. J. Bissells Antilles was third to the Cochran pair. St. Michael made all the pace, at Frankie Keoghs bidding, but Iris stablemate Banksia, ou which Kelsay had the mount, probably could have gone to the front at any time had she been called on. Old Dad. a three-year-old colt from the Kedgwiek Stable, with Rodriguez astride, made n rimnwny of the opening dash, winning by ten lengths. G. W. Formans Bolster won the third race. Ridden by Butwell, the gelded son of Marco Permia followed at a convenient distance behind the pacemaker. Sunny Hill, until straightening ont, when he came around the. leaders and. closing with his accustomed rush, got. up in the closing strides. The talent had it right in the fourth when backing Bridesman into odds-on favoritism. Jockey Callalian took the Martin colt to the Trout and made all the pace with him, to win by two and a half lengths. Jockey J. Hcupel is still confined to his bed as a result of injuries sustained in his fall on Calvert Tuesday. Clareiieo Middleton claimed Stepson from W. R. Tolmie yesterday for ,500. The stewards have announced that the entry of Sir William Johnson will not be accepted at this meeting because of his fractiqusness the last tfme out. F.
