ON -THE SCENE -OP CONFLICT WINDSOR, Out., October 7. Interest hi the racing at Kenilworth this afternoon was overshadowed by the arrival of Sir Barton and Man o "War. The former got in just before the horses were called to the post for the opening dash, while Mnn o War reached the course directly after the running of the fourtli race. Between the running of the fourth and fifth races Sir Barton with Carroll Shilling" in the saddle was galloped through the home stretch. Both horses made the trip here without mishap and appear in prime condition. Specinl stables have been erected to house both horses, with sleeping accommodations for the help overhead. Trainers II. 5. Bedwell and Louis Feustel accompanied Sir Barton and Man o War, respectively. The racing this afternoon was marked by some remarkably close finishes and in several of the contests it took the official, placing to decide the winner. This was especially so of the first and third races. Nepiierhan was claimed by Wm. Walker after he was leaten yesterday. Jockey Schwartz was suspended for the remainder of the meeting by the starter for disoledience at tlie post.
