SEES BRIGHT FUTURE FOR TIJUANA After having witnessed his first days racing at Tijuana on Thanksgiving Day, Francis Nelson, who is the presiding steward at the Mexican track, is reported to have said: "The plant, the attendance and the spirited competition were all that could be looked for anywhere. The prospect for racing at this point is vast in its extent and the climatic and other conditions are such as should restore ihe former glory of the sport on this side of the Rocky Mountains. "There is no reason, I told the riders in my customary talk with the jockeys, why this should not quickly become by far the nfost important racing locality in North America for six months of the year. All that is needed is the hearty co-operation of all connected with the racing, so as to establish it on u basis calculated to retain the approbation and support of the public, without which no form of recreutive entertainment can expect success."
