GOOD TURF FORTUNE OF S. D. RIDDLE HIS GLEN RIDDLE FARM STABLE, THROUGH THE PROWESS OF MAN 0 WAR, WINS 86,087 THIS YEAR Through one of those turns of good fortune characteristic of the turf, it fell this year to a previously comparatively unimportant stable to attain great prominence. This was the Glen Riddle Farm Stable, under which name Samuel D. Riddle races. There really was not much to the stable except Man o War, but that exception was more than enough to satisfy any reasonable man. He won all of his eleven races and more money than was ever before placed to the credit of a three-year-old in the history of American racing. In the light of what has passed, it is evident this superb young racer would have swelled his winning account by the 0,000 of the Kentucky Derby had his owner not refrained from nominating him to that most important and valuable of our spring races. Mr. Riddle may again possess good race horses, but never again one the equal of Man o War. Aside from him, Dinna Care raced well enough for. the stable to gain inclusion in the select list of winners of 0,000 or more, and Dream of the Valley at times showed a more than average order of speed.
