RUSTLER acted fractiously while at the post, but was ;iwm.v with a rush, although beginning behind the others, and, showing the most speed, shook off SILENCE in the last sixteenth to win .going away. SILENCE ran a good race, but tired after racing into .thii lead. IONIA suffered from interference, but gained steadily in the stretch. DORK. ran well and finished gamely. The latter followed the winner closely for the entire race and finished fast. FLUZEY dropped back in the early running, but came fast In the stretch. JOCK SCOT tired badly in hhe last eighth. GOLDEN DAWN was far back in the early running and was brought wide on the stretch turn, but finished fast and gamely ETTAHE ran a fairly good race, but was tiring at the end. BERLIN tired after running a good three-quarters. KALLIPOLIS retired to the rear after- going a half mile.
