BAAAXXA came from behind with a good burst of speed in the stretcli. but swerved over to the inside in the last sixteenth. KENTMERE set a good pace, but tired badly in the last eighth. TUANOREA ran well and outstayed DIFFIDENCE after beginning slowly and being outrun for the lirst half mile. DIFFIDENCE showed speed, but tired. Overweights Diffidence, 2 pound. HOGAN moved up menacingly at the eighth post, but began tiring after getting on almost equal terms with the leader. AIGRETTE finished well and was gradually wearing the leaders down.
