ALBERT A IS DEAD OF FEVER Other Bowie Horses in Good Health Many Stables Arrive from South BALTIMORE Md March In the journey from Xew Orleans to Howie the gelding Albert A 10111 by Ballot Clara 1 a plater above the aver ¬ age was stricken with catarrhal fever and died There is no sickness in the Bowie stables Xew arrivals at the course are AAillhim Hurttschell with the stable of J R Skinker of AVashington Miller Henderson with the Ogden stable Joseph Tevis Cary AVinfrey with the stable of L T Hauer Charles Gasser James Arthur Mortemer Murphy George Hrtnion J H Dunne AVilliam Fizer and AVilliam Farniiru Clyde Freeman Lewis Williams with the Crown stable Jefferson Heard Charles Mortoif Samuel Louis AVilliam Shea and A Swenke Most of these horsemen raced at Xcv Orleans and Shreveport There will be another traiii load of horse from Shreveport caHy this week and one or two from Mobile in the course of the next week or ten days daysAmong Among tiie really capable racers of these stables are Midnight Sun Eddie Rickenbachcr Siesta Madrono and Mythology of Hifrttschells string Beaverkill aiid Dr Jim of the Ogdcn stable Tip pity AVitchct and Piff Bang of the AVinfrey band Louise A and St Quelitin of the Dunne stable and James Arthurs Bondage Tippity AVitchct one of the stars of the Bowie autumn meeting of 1020 livid his own right well at New Orleans and he looks none the worse for liis winter cam pajgn Old Bondage looks as fresh and as bright as a twoyearold Five years of rather hard rac ¬ ing have meant no more to him than nine have meant to his frequent rival Leochares Midnight Sun and Eddie Rickcnbaeher are the best class animals of Burttschells stable which numl ers nineteen heart These and the other Xew Orleans horses arrived in excellent condition
