ROSS STARS FOR CANADIAN RACING TORONTO Ont April 30 Commander J K L Ross who was in attendance at the meeting of the Canadian Racing Associations as president of the Blue Bonnets course left last night for Mon ¬ treal He stated that he intended bringing Boni ¬ face Billy Kelly and Baby Grand to Woodbine Park for the Ontario Jockey Club spring meeting in addition to the string of twentytwo Canadian bred horses he has here in charge of Fred Schelke Mr Ross will not send any horses to Kentucky for the Derby as lie does not consider his threeyear olds to be good enough He himself fancies Trys ¬ ter for the Derby He was well pleased with the advanced condition of his Canadian horses as was George M Hendrie who also visited Woodbine Park to look over his stable which is in charge of John Nixon NixonThe The Thorncliffe Stable connections are sweet on the chances of Witch Flower for the Kings Plate PlateThe The Brookdale Stable of Messrs Albert and Simon Dyment arrived at Woodbine Park today from Barrie in charge of trainer George Walker There were sixteen in the string including Hornet a steeplechaser Woodbine Aniriut Blackburn seven Kings Plate candidates all threeyearolds Herendesy Resarf War Canoe Nomis War Fox Reconnaissance and Fox Haven five twoyearolds Aquatic Fanatic Paddle Corezic and Fox Glove
