NEW ORLEANS RACING SAFE AGAIN NEW ORLEANS La June 8 By a vote of 74 to 57 the Louisiana constitutional convention Wednesday afternoon killed the Brazcali amend ¬ ment which would have barred the transmission publication or dissemination of information on horses entered In races Many of the members of the con ¬ vention who voted for the measure the first time it was introduced said they acted hastily and at the time didnt think it so drastic They reversed their votes Wednesday WednesdayThe The measure was sent back to the floor of the convention when the coordination committee of the convention last Saturday recommended that the con ¬ vention strike it from its minutes because it was legislative in character and should be left to the general assembly for consideration considerationColonel Colonel John P Sullivan well known in racing circles voted for the amendment the first time it was introduced by Mr Irazealu but said that lie didnt have time to consider the measure and re ¬ versed his vote Tuesday TuesdayThe The action of the constitutional convention auto ¬ matically ends the fights to prevent the transmis ¬ sion of racing information over the telegraph wires in so far as thu state of Louisiana is concerned There is an act pending In Congress introduced re ¬ cently by a Louisiana rcprcseuUUive similar t6 the
