FORT ERIE STAKE ENTRIES Array of HighClass Horses Among Nomina ¬ tions to This Years Fixtures BUFFALO N Y June 20 Never before in the history of the Fort Erie track have the stake races attracted a more brilliant array of thoroughbreds than they have this year for the forthcoming meet ¬ ings at the course across the river July 2 to 9 and August 8 to IK At the first meeting there will be decided the Fourth of July Stakes a linndicap for threeyearolds and over 3000 added one inilu and seventy yards the Niagara Stakes twoyear olds 2500 added fiveeighths and the Canadian Derby threeyearolds foaled in Canada mile and a quarter 7iCO added At the second meeting the Dominion Handicap threeyearolds nnfl over mile and a Quarter 7500 aclded the Iroquois Hotel Handicap twoyearolds five and a half furlongs 2500 added and the E W Maginn Memorial Handicap threeyearolds and over mile and a six ¬ teenth 2500 added will be run runA A large number of the best handicap horses in training have been named for these events The Derby which for the first time will be for Cana ¬ dianbred horses lias attracted twentyone these representing the cream of the homebred thorough ¬ breds and indications
