BLOSSOM HOUSE raced in closest pursuit and held on gamely in the tinal drive. HEPHAISTOS began well and raced prominently from the start. WIDGEOX was gaining steadily in the stretch, but ran green. The latter was away badly and had to come around the others, and was excessively used and tired near the end. ACE came fast in the last quarter. MAY BODIXE showed the most early speed but tired badly in the last eighth. SURMOUXT quit after going three-quarters. DAIXTY LASS began slowly and was always far back. CHO CHO showed fine speed and set a great pace, but was unduly used and tired. JACK HARE JR. ran a fast half, but also tired near the end. ROULEAU finished fast. SEA PRIXCE was going fast at the end. SAXDS OF PLEASURE was done after going a mile. MIDWAY quit badly. MIXT CAT would not extend hiniself under his diminutive rider.
