BOTHERATION raced in nearest pursuit to the stretch and raced info the lead in the last eighth, then appeared beaten, but came again in the last few strides to overhaul HUMPHREY. The latter appeared to be a certain winner seventy yards from the finish, but tired unexpectedly. BLACK HACKLE shoWed the most early speed, but was done after going three-quarters. WILLOW TREE began slowly and closed a gap. So did VULCANITE. Won driving: second and third the same. MOORESQUE, after racing forwardly from the start, stood a hard drive through the stretch and outstnyed SALAMANDER. The latter raced slugglshlv and was never fully settled to his work, but -was gaining steadily at the end. FIELD LARK came with a rush in the Inst sixteenth, COMMANDER COLIN showed the most speed for five-eighths before tiring. FRANK BOYD came from far back. ETHEL TALE tired badly. " EEtC"! ARRAVAN was going fast when interfered with and forced back. BY GOLLY ran well and finished fast. ROULEAU was running gamely at the end. BROOK-HOLT tired in the stretch. BELIEVE IDLE HOUR was leading easily when she gave way in the left foreleg. ACE was given a timid ride and taken back Just before the stretch turn, but finished gamely. ALL RIGHT SIR was away poorly and came from far back. RAMA had no mishaps.
