PURL, much the best, was shuffled back soon after the start, but came through fast on the inside after rounding the far turn and, finishing fast, won going away. CORMORAN was badly outrun early, but closed a gap with a rush and outstayed KAMA at the end. KAMA set a good pace, but tired from racing COBALT LASS into defeat. LYNMOUTH raced in closest pursuit of the early pacemaker and passed him in the stretch, but tired right at the end. PLAYWRIGHT was in close quarters through the stretcli and finished gamely.
