MEMBERSHIP IN ENGLISH JOCKEY CLUB Washington Singer, a scion of the house of the great American sewing machine family, has been elected to membership in the English Jockey Club, a most exclusive organization. Only one other American, August Belmont, is a member. Mr. Singer has lived and raced in England for a long time.
