SWEEPY, crowded in the first sixteenth by LADY DELHI and forced back, gained gradually on the extreme outside and came fast in the stretch, but tired slightly in the linal strides. FINNISH JLUD finished with a belated rush through the stretch and oiitfinishod DELHI JTAH at the end. DELHI JIAID fired after racing Into the lead. JIISS RANKIN began slowly and moved up rapidly after entering the stretch, but tired in the final drive. ROCKPORT was never prominent. ORlNDV quit after going five-eighths. SNAPDRAGON II. was far back until in the last quarter mile, where he came fast under a poor ride. SANTA CLAUS met with interference on the first turn and on the backstretch.
