CHAMPAGNE STAKES TODAY Probable Starters, Riders and Odds in This Afternoons Feature at Belmont Park. XEW YORK, X. Y., September 13. The Champagne Stakes, of ,500 added, is the chief offering of tomorrows card at Belmont Park. It is a dash of seven-eighths of a mile, and it is the first time the two-year-olds have been called upon to go that far this year. Eight are named, with Gal-antman and Surf Rider, which finished second and fourth respectively in the Futurity last Saturday, with a host of admirers, although June Grass is the overnight preference in a speculative way.
