January 18. — There is a sharp local revival in interest in horse racing in Colorado, considered to lie as netcessary as is the continuance of the activities cf the state and Denver 111 1 stimulating tourist travel to the Centennial state. The two are closely allied. Many easterners an-luuallv - make their pilgrimage to the Queen City of f I the Plains, and scores of such travelers ate ardent t devotees of racing. By stimulating the sport in 1 I Colorado, and particularly in Denver, the state • I would profit from the fact that there would be ■ one more added attraction Bar pleasure seekers wend-1 - ing their way westward when the mercury begins i I to rise on the eastern seaboard. The movement for I ■ new racing circuit is advocated by horsemen 1 of western Nebraska and will arouse the interest of f local ragtag folks and the state and county officials.
